We had hoped to pickup more news articles on the Criminal Probe started today at Fannie Mae, however, the only news service carrying the full meal deal as of this writing is the subscriber based WSJ On-line found at this link if you are a subscriber:
Fannie Criminal Probe Is Launched
Author Mueller's Mr. Bailout at the www.mises.org website uses a clip from Fantasia, the Disney cartoon classic built around a great array of classical music. The image of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice is apropos to the essay. The clip in the movie is built around the music of Paul Dukas, the French Composer. The imagery of the Empirical Imperial Grand Vizier as the Sorcerer's Apprentice is most amusing. It is so amusing, in fact, I am laughing so hard that my sides are splitting wide open!
Mr. Bailout is a great read. It's so good in fact... I suspect it will become a timeless classic and remain one of my favorite essays for years to come... just like Fantasia!
