Robert Longe
President & CEO, Kimber Resources Inc.
Mr. Longe, who has a 35 year career in the mineral exploration and development business, has worked with multinational companies, including Consolidated African Selection Trust and Rio Algom. Since 1980 he has provided consulting and contracting services to the mineral industry in North and South America, and in Africa and has served as an Officer and Director of junior public companies.
Robert Quartermain
President & Director, Silver
Standard Res Inc
Mr. Quartermain has been the President and a director of Silver Standard since 1985, and is responsible for strategic planning, acquisitions, and the raising of capital to fund operations.
Mr. Quartermain graduated in 1977 from University of New Brunswick with a B.Sc. in geology, and from Queen's University in 1981 with a M.Sc. in mineral exploration. From 1976 to 1982, he worked for the Geological Survey of Canada and in private industry on mapping and exploration programs. Mr. Quartermain also worked for Teck Corp. before becoming president of Silver Standard Res. Inc. in 1985. Since 1985, Mr. Quartermain has been involved as a director and/or officer of a number of public resource companies including currently Iamgold Corp., Esperanza Silver and Canplats Res. Corp.
André Gaumond
Pres., CEO & Director, Virginia Gold

A geological engineer with a master's degree in geological economics, Mr. Gaumond has worked as a consultant for several mining companies, including Noranda, SOQUEM, the government of Quebec and Eldorado Nuclear. From 1987 to 1990, he was a mining analyst for several financial institutions, Pemberton Securities and Midland Walwyn among others. In 1990, he joined Corpomin Management as a technical and financial consultant, where he held various senior management positions within various mining exploration companies. He reorganized Virginia Gold Mines in 1993 and assumed the title of President.
Peter Marrone
President & CEO, Yamana Gold Inc.
Peter Marrone has been President and CEO of Yamana since July 2003. He was instrumental in the creation of Yamana in 2003 and organizing it as a significant gold producer in Brazil. Prior to that, Peter was head of investment banking at a major Canadian investment bank. Peter was also on the executive committee of that investment bank. Prior to this, Peter was a leading securities lawyer in Canada with a strong focus on the mining sector and international transactions. Peter has upwards of 20 years of business and capital market experience and has been on the boards of a number of public companies and advised companies with a strong Brazilian presence. Peter has been familiar with the Brazilian assets acquired by Yamana in 2003 for more than a decade.
